The main reason why teenagers and adults get acne is because of their diet. According to the doctor in my moms acupuncture office, teenagers can limit their acne simply by changing thier diet. Sugary snacks and junk food breaks us out due to the carbohydrates and high sugar that are in the food we eat. Carbohydrates and sugar makes our blood sugar rise, and produces more oil on the skin that makes us break out. Our diet is a big part of our acne.
If we just cut out these bad foods our skin will most likely clear up. But everyone should wash and clean their face, to get rid of bacteria and excess skin cells. Sometimes acne isn’t acne isn’t always because of our diet and our daily facial routines. The crazy hormones in our body make us breakout, due to all the changes our body goes through. But don’t worry, acne is not forever.
