For the Makers Fair I have been working on building a skateboard. We’ve been working on it for about two weeks now, and have came up with a design for the deck. It going to have the shape of a cruiser deck. We have used adobe Illustrator to create an outline of the deck. We have also created an 3D model in Fusion 360. And now we are working on making a mold and a two layered prototype.

 

Our Illustrator design for the deck is the shape of a cruiser deck. It may have took some asking for a bit of help to remember how to outline an image in Illustrator and a whole class, but it was worth the resolutes. After working for an hour and a half on getting the arches right it come out pretty good.

 

With help of Mr.Oren, we have a 3D model that was made in Fusion 360. It took lots of thinking from both of us to make a 3D model of the deck. And now we are working on a 3D model for our deck.

 

Can’t wait to see the ending resolutes! Hope it turns out well!
